Blessures Atomiques plot
Doctor Hida, 89, is one of the survivors of the atomic bomb that fell on Hiroshima, Japan, in 1945. Despite his age, he continues to care for some of the quarter million survivors. Dr. Hida also talks about his dedication and highlights how the terrible danger of radiation was concealed by the US government in the 1950s, 60s and 70s so that nuclear power could be developed further without worrying about public health. In addition to doctor Hida, the documentary also follows a number of the affected people who talk about their thankless and terrible agony over the years.
