Billal plot

In a white suburb of Sydney, a Lebanese family with three teenage sons and a younger daughter lives among mainly Anglo-Australian families. Hidden under the skin are racial tensions that erupt one day when one of the Lebanese boys - Billal is his name - is deliberately hit by a car. The badly injured boy has been in a coma for a long time and it will later turn out that he has suffered permanent brain damage. The documentary follows the dramatic events after the assassination attempt.
