Behind the Wall plot

The Dutch Street artist JDL, Judith de Leeuw, is famous and in demand worldwide. She creates her murals, which are up to fifty meters high, all by herself on an aerial platform. Director Deborah Faraone Mennella follows De Leeuw in 2022 as he creates a monumental mural on an apartment building in a deprived neighborhood in southern Italy. JDL was inspired by the recent death of her father from cancer. The theme not only evokes strong feelings among Judith herself, but also among local residents.
