Beeldjagers plot

The world comes to the Netherlands. World leaders and asylum seekers make the front page. Who takes the pictures? Elmer van der Marel hunts for people, colors and patterns to create his personal image of the news and wins a Silver Camera three times in a row. For years he has been photographing the wanderings of a group of illegal immigrants who pass through Amsterdam like hunted game. Serge Ligtenberg has been chasing the politicians in the Binnenhof for fifteen years. Their arrivals, greetings and behavior in combination with the right lighting, background and gaze. Then you have the unique opportunity to hunt big game.
