Battles plot

The echoes of war can also be heard in peacetime. 'Battles' looks with great patience and a sense of tragedy and comedy at the traces of battle in the landscape. A bunker in Albania that is used as a cowshed by a family. Old ammunition detonated by the Belgian army. An army of Russian seamstresses that manufacture inflatable war materials. And a tourist attraction in Latvia where people can buy time in a military training camp. Traces of struggle that regain their place in everyday life, but also tell something about the absurd relationship between the two.
