Bastards' Road plot

"Coming home from war is just the beginning."

Like many other war veterans, it was very difficult for Jon Hancock to return to civilian life. After years of struggle, Jon decided to take a grand tour across the country. On foot. In this documentary, Jon confronts the demons that have taken over his life on his own and covers a distance of almost ten thousand kilometers. Along the way, he visits fellow Marines, known as the Magnificent Bastards, and the families of his fallen comrades. Jon finds a mission bigger than his own redemption. Veterans everywhere are struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder. And they are taking their own lives at an alarming rate.
