Barluschke plot
"Psychogram of a spy"
Berthold Barluschke worked in the 1970s and 1980s as a secret agent for the East German secret service, the Stasi. After a short stay in South America, he was stationed for a long time in the United States, where he set up a spy network. He lived there all those years under a false name and with a completely made-up identity. Even his American wife and two children were not aware of his real background. Currently, Barluschke lives in Paris and the film begins when he is separated from his wife and children. Tensions in the family have run high after Barluschke was indicted after German reunification.
