This documentary highlights the life of Marie-Pierre Pruvot, aka Bambi. Marie-Pierre is a transsexual woman, born as a man in Algeria. Her birth name was Jean-Pierre Pruvot. Under the stage name Bambi, she performed in Paris in the 1950s and 1960s as a showgirl and dancer. Her life would take a remarkable turn when she started teaching at the University.
