Az Pase Borghe plot

On the Iranian island of Qeshm in the Persian Gulf, in addition to a headscarf, the women also wear a 'burka', a constricting mask of black bands that runs over their eyebrows and nose, ending in a vicious point above the mouth. The women interviewed do not detract from this outward sign of oppression. They do express themselves openly, against strict religious rules, straight into the camera about their emotional problems, psychological condition and physical complaints.
