Auf der Kippe plot

The Romanian-German filmmaker Andrei Schwartz found the inspiration for this film in his earliest childhood. At that time he still lived in Bucharest, near a Roma settlement that was situated on the edge of a garbage dump. After the fall of Ceausescu, little has changed for the better for the Roma. They still live outside the city limits, on vacant lots and garbage dumps. In “Auf der Kippe” Schwartz portrays some Roma who live in a garbage dump outside the city limits of Klausenburg.
