Asog plot

In the aftermath of 2013's Super Typhoon Haiyan, recently unemployed Jaya, a former comedian and teacher, embarks on a journey across the Philippines in hopes of winning the queer beauty pageant and cash prize. His lonely journey is interrupted when he crosses paths with Arnel, a student heading in the same direction in search of family. What follows is a fascinating story of an unlikely duo trying to get their lives back on track.
