Aracati plot

In four hours the wind blows from Aracati to Icó, says an old man near a stream in the northeast of Brazil. It is the same wind that blows up the modern wind farm, that rocks the sparse trees, and that drives the dust over the parched earth to finally reach the vast reservoir. This experimental documentary follows the wind at a calm pace, while the images of the landscape are given the space to speak their own language. A world of earth, air and water, now intersected by power lines.
