Anda Union plot

The musicians of Anda Union are part of a community of six million Mongolians in China. They decide to look for the roots of the music they make. This leads to an at times moving road trip in which the band members cover more than ten thousand kilometers through the vast plains of Inner Mongolia in just over a month. They travel to relatives they have not seen for years and give energetic concerts to a wildly enthusiastic audience. The film is not a lament about the loss of old traditions, the old and the new go together effortlessly. Above all, it is an ode to the musicians and their contemporary interpretations of traditional Mongolian music.
