Am Kölnberg plot

In 1974, at the southern end of Cologne, just outside the city in the Meschenich district, a residential high-rise known as 'Am Kölnberg' is being built. The place quickly got a bad reputation. In addition to refugees, families and immigrants from all corners of the world, there now live mainly people who for various reasons have ended up on the outer fringes of society. About 4000 people from 60 different countries are housed there.
