Alias Ruby Blade plot

Ordinary people can make a difference, this documentary shows the extraordinary love story of human rights activist Kirsty Sword and political prisoner Xanana Gusmão. Two lovers, armed with nothing more than their sense of justice and perseverance, fight for years for the independence of East Timor. While working for the Timorese resistance in Jakarta, the Australian Sword smuggles video equipment, computers and audio cassettes under the alias Ruby Blade to their leader Gusmão, who is serving a life sentence in the infamous Cipinang Prison.
