Aftermath: The Remnants of War plot

This documentary follows a number of people who deal with past wars on a daily basis. In the woods near Verdun, the explosives disposal staff are still tracking down mines from the First World War. It is estimated that 10,000,000 are still underground. Bosnia is also teeming with landmines. About 1800 minefields are known in Sarajevo alone. A Muslim refugee clears them up against his will. In Russia, an old man searches for the invisible graves of the soldiers who died en masse during the battle of Stalingrad.
