After the Rape plot

After a horrific gang rape, Mukhtar Mai opened two girls' schools and a crisis center in rural Pakistan. The center and the women who come to ask for help show the abuses of a society where tribal chiefs still rule and violence against women is lurking everywhere. The girls' school and the students symbolize the hope for change.
