Adopted plot

Adopted is a documentary about a very unusual cultural exchange. African families 'adopt' Western adults who have become estranged from their own families. The film tells the story of the lives of the three protagonists Gisela, Thelma and Ludger, their journey to their new family in Ghana and the process of adjustment and inevitable misunderstandings.
