A Walnut Tree plot
An old man looks back on his life. He sadly tells his grandson about his homeland in the Tirah Valley. He sketches green hills, where there was partying and music playing. A video, played on a smartphone, shows images of the paradisiacal environment. Now the man lives in refugee camp Jalozai in Pakistan, in a makeshift tent. The residents of this terminal are dependent on United Nations relief supplies. The man tells how he now lives like an animal, like a nomad in no man's land. He longs for a land that no longer exists: in his motherland all blissful hobbies, such as reading poetry, are forbidden and friends and family have left years ago...
