Once upon a time there was a place in Kansas called Neuchatel. Of the origin of the first inhabitants of the place, all from Neuchâtel in Switzerland, only surnames remain: Bonjour, Junod, Jeanneret. Now the American Neuchatel is a ghost town whose community life is limited to the graveyard.
