The visual guideline of the documentary 31 Stops is the metro line Stockel-Erasmus. This route through Brussels briefly brings thousands of people together every day, where very different worlds intersect. In the film, 6 different characters are followed underground and above ground in their daily activities. What binds them are stories of loss and lack, of dreams and desires.
