11 Freundinnen plot

The summer of 2006 remains in all things a euphoric memory for Germany. The Football World Cup, a hot summer with little rain and the whole world as a guest in Germany, which looked completely different. Germany turned out to be friendly, open, multicultural, cheerful and playful. The united German people experience this as happy and enjoy a new 'we' feeling. The Germans were finally themselves again and even the 'new citizens' with immigrant backgrounds, who were always against the German national team on principle, were now for Germany. A wave of euphoria washed over the country. That was during the 2006 World Championship. And what's left of the country now? Does it always need a big event to be different, or to find itself?
