"When the truth is hidden. When the witness is silenced."

Irish journalist Sinead Hamilton (Allen) decides to delve into Dublin's drug scene, because the establishment completely ignores this problem. At the beginning of the investigation she is hailed, but as the truth gets closer, she gets more and more enemies. These try to thwart her with all kinds of threats, also aimed at her family.
