For twelve years, Officer Lena Jörning has not heard from her sister. Evelyn then left the village on the German Baltic Sea coast, to escape the monotony of everyday life. When a corpse is discovered in the ice of the Baltic Sea, Lena has to examine the dead body and to her horror recognizes her sister Evelyn.
