Unmasked plot
"SHAKEDOWN RACKET Exposed!"
Roger Lewis is the publisher of a gossip magazine, with which he suffers a loss. He therefore borrowed money from his mistress Doris King. Doris is the wife of wealthy theater producer Harry Jackson. Roger asks Doris if she wants to divorce Harry, but Harry doesn't practice it and even plans to take the money and jewelry he gave to Doris in the past. The moment he wants to collect the jewels from Doris, he gets into a fight with Roger. To take revenge on Harry, Roger then kills Doris, blames Harry, who goes into hiding. Harry wants to hide Doris's money and jewelry from petty criminal "Biggie" Wolfe, who is friends with Roger. Harry's daughter Linda, meanwhile, has Detective Jim Webster search for her missing father.
