Underworld plot

An African-American who has just graduated from college leaves his southern hometown and seeks his fortune in Chicago. Soon he is faced with a crime and is charged with murder. When the evil woman who accused him is killed in an accident, his only witness is dead and he no longer has an alibi to prove his innocence.
