Under the Hanging Tree plot

A hot-tempered municipal official is assigned a morbid case in a desert town in Namibia. Christina Mureti's disciplined, strict investigative methods are useless in her investigation of dead cattle on a German farmer's land. The mystery becomes even bigger when the farmer, Gustav Fischer, is found hanged from an old tree.
