The Windsplitter plot

A friendly young man leaves his conservative home in Houston to make it in Hollywood. He succeeds in this and becomes a famous movie star. All of Houston is proud of the man's success and he is invited to crown a local Miss. When he arrives in the city, however, he is not welcomed as warmly as he expected.
