The Third Visitor plot
In New York, newly released novelist James C. "Jim" Oliver stumbles upon a magazine photo of London-based businessman and playboy Richard Carling. He immediately books a transatlantic flight. Shortly after, he arrives at Carling's house and tells him he wants to get a little "compensation." Carling assumes he wants money and asks how much. The next morning, Carling's business partner Jack Kurton arrives at Carling's house for an appointment. But when he rings the doorbell there is no answer...
