The Take plot

"Taking it all will take everything he's got"

Dennis, a former cop sent to prison for corruption, meets an old friend; a talk show host. When he goes with his boyfriend to his girlfriend's house, they find her body. She died of an overdose after a one-night stand with a doctor. The talk show host freaks out, kills the doctor and takes a suitcase full of drugs. The suitcase turns out to be owned by the Cuban mafia, whose leader is the brother of the doctor. The mafia goes after the host, but when they find him, he is dead. Now they're demanding Dennis find the drugs again, or else...
