The Moth plot
Rich and young Diana Wyman squanders her fortune and becomes involved in a heist at a party. Her legal guardian, an old man in love with her, hires a private detective to spy on her. He follows her to a train bound for New Orleans, but Diana notices him. On board, she befriends a young woman, after which they want to give the private detective a run for the money. What Diane doesn't know, though, is that her new girlfriend is actually a notorious criminal known as "The Moth," and she has her own reasons for helping Diane escape. She too is followed by a detective, who is looking for a stash of jewels she has stolen.
