The Exquisite Thief plot

Blue Jean Billie, a wealthy young female con artist living separately from the underworld, has committed many robberies in high society with the help of her boyfriend Shaver Michael. Billie gains access to the Vanderhoof Dinner, where their daughter's engagement to Lord Chesterton is to be announced. While the dinner is underway, Billie misleads Special Agent Detective Wood and subsequently commits a large-scale robbery against the guests.
