The Black Widow plot
The Daily Clarion hires detective novelist Steve Colt to investigate the death of a group of scientists working to develop an atomic missile. Behind the murders is the fortune teller Sombra. She is a spy from an Asian country that wants to play a dominant role in the world. Sombra is determined to steal the nuclear missile by luring project workers to her workplace. When they refuse to cooperate with her, she wants to kill them with the poison of the black widow spider.
