Stage Struck plot
"TRUE! BRUTAL! SHOCKING!"
The police find the body of hostess Helen Howard. Her body had been dumped by petty blackmailer Nick Mantee after Helen was shot by Benny Nordick at his Bluejay nightclub for knowing too much about his illegal activities. Police Lieutenant Williams and Police Sergeant Tom Ramey inform Helen's parents and her sister Nancy of the murder. Nancy then investigates herself and ends up at the Mercer Agency, which is run by Nordick. Nordick appears to be training young women, who then go on to work for extremely high salaries at Mantee's Bluejay nightclub.
