Based on the book by Mario Mendoza, a light is shed on a massacre by Campo Elías Delgado in a restaurant in Bogotá. The film contains three storylines: a femme fetale who tries to scam a rich man, a priest who is in love with his maid and a veteran/teacher who is tired of life and longs for one of his female students. In search of love and caught in their fear, passion and temptation, they become involved in a series of tragic events.
