Pick-up plot
"She was easy to get but hard to forget!"
Former inmate 'Baby Face' Mary Richards hides her criminal past and starts a new life with kind taxi driver Harry Glynn. The couple leaves town together and heads to a suburb where Mary helps Harry set up an auto mechanic business. Although they are in love, they cannot marry because Mary is the wife of the criminal Jim Richards, who is in prison. Things get complicated for Mary when the attractive and wealthy Muriel Stevens tries to seduce Harry and Jim escapes from prison and is blamed for it.
