Noise plot
"Wrong Man. Right Place. Wrong Time."
Lavinia Smart is the sole survivor of a horrific massacre on a train. Graham McGahan is a police officer in a Melbourne suburb where another murder is rocking the town. It is quickly apparent that there is a connection between these murders. McGahan suffers from severe tinnitus - could it be a sign of cancer? - and his boss gives him an observation assignment at the murder scene. McGahan reluctantly accepts the assignment; he sees it as a degradation. In the mobile police caravan parked close to the murder scene, McGahan is visited by several people involved in the drama.
