Moses the Black plot

Malik, a Chicago gang leader, is released from prison and seeks revenge for the murder of his friend Sayeed. While his right-hand man, Mike, tries to unite the gang and urge others to retaliate, Malik receives a statue of St. Moses the Black from his grandmother that intrigues him. Meanwhile, rival gangs and a corrupt cop close in, forcing Malik to choose between his past and new dangers within and outside his group.
