Missing Daughters plot
"LEARN HOW RUN-AWAY GIRLS GET THE BROADWAY RUN-AROUND"
Josie Lamonte is upset by her experiences at 'Club Naturelle', where she had hoped to gain poise and personality for a career in theater. She lashes out at club owner Lucky Rogers for his unprincipled way of recruiting girls for his nightclub. Josie's suicide is soon aired by news anchor and columnist Wally King, in which he squirts his criticism of Police Captain McGraw of the Missing Persons Bureau. Wally says that Josie had been missing for months, while her photo was seen on a poster by passers-by from the police station. McGraw, on the other hand, challenges Wally to find some missing girls herself. But then Josie's sister Kay Roberts brings Wally a letter, proving that Josie's death was not a suicide...
