Mine Own Executioner plot
In post-war London, clinical psychologist Felix Milne is close to burnout. He has marital problems as well as a busy schedule. Most of his patients are not really sick or even neurotic, but need someone who will listen to their ordinary problems. Milne is given an interesting challenge: he is asked by the attractive Mollie Lucien to treat her husband Adam, a former prisoner of war of the Japanese. Milne is actually overworked to give complicated treatments, like for Lucien, but he almost feels compelled to try and help him when he actually needs help himself.
