La Terra plot
Luigi di Santo accidentally killed his father during a family quarrel as a teenager, and has lived in Milan ever since. To settle an inheritance, he arrives for a short period in his old hometown in Southern Puglia. He soon becomes fascinated by the town, where his three brothers have built a life amidst local crime.
