Off the coast of Montpellier, a diver finds a gold statue in a shipwreck. The next day he is reported missing and his boat is found empty and rudderless at sea. The diver is the son-in-law of Guillaume Le Guen, police captain, who conducts the investigation together with his brother Damien, gendarme.
