Kisaan plot
Widower Dayal Singh is a farmer in Palheri in the Chandigarh district. He witnesses the exploitation of peasants by the local rulers. He sends his eldest son Aman to the city to study law. His youngest son Jiggar continues to help him on the farm. Years later, the district is visited by Sohan Seth, who wants to buy the farm to turn it into a commercial area. Aman returns home to take on Sohan with his father and brother.
