"What is the price of love?"
In late 1997, Anu Singh, an attractive law student from Canberra, made plans to kill her boyfriend Joe Cinque after a series of macabre farewell dinners. The diners, mostly college students, have heard rumors of her plan, but no one warned Joe. Joe's death and subsequent trial caught the attention of the entire country. It took the community a lot of effort to accept that a life can end, despite so many people knowing about the murder plans.
