Eteraz plot
When Amur learns that the woman who was to marry his brother has been having an affair with another man, he does what he thinks is right to save the family's honor: he kills her. He accepts his sentence of twelve years in prison without protesting. His fellow inmates see and treat him as a hero, but when he is released, he becomes acquainted with a new Iran. His brother tells him that the honor killing is now considered barbaric.
