Dr. Broadway plot

"Specialist In Heart Trouble... and Lead Poisoning!"

dr. Timothy Kane is a doctor in the Broadway borough of New York City. He is well known in that area and is known by the residents as 'Dr. called Broadway. One day, Dr. Broadway a young artist who wants to jump off an apartment building and he saves her. However, that jump attempt turns out to be a publicity stunt. dr. Broadway then becomes involved with a man who has been sentenced to death. This man asks him to bring $10,000 to his daughter, from whom he is estranged. But even before Dr. Broadway can deliver the money, the death row inmate is killed by criminals and they also steal the key to his safe. The crooks then take the money from the safe and Dr. Broadway is charged with murder.
