Double Indemnity plot

Unhappily married Phyllis Dietrickson seduces insurance salesman Walter Neff. She manages to get him to help her kill her husband. Walter thinks he's committed the perfect murder, but his employer suspects it was murder due to the nature of the victim's insurance policy. He orders Walter's passionate chief Barton Keyes to investigate.
