Don plot

Bong-su is a simple farmer, but no matter how hard he works, his situation never seems to improve. He has even postponed his daughter Sun's wedding because he cannot afford to pay the costs. His son Yeong-ho, who had just returned to the village from his military service, and the girl Ok-Gyeong, who grew up next to him in the household, love each other. Ok-Gyeong helps out at a bar run by the loan shark's wife Eok-jo.
