In the Berlin of the turbulent 1920s, the beautiful Pauline seduces one man after another. One day she meets Andrei, an American of Russian descent, and she spends two passionate nights with him. This is much to the dismay of Pauline's ex-lover, the mobster Harry, and to escape his anger Pauline and Andrei flee to Carlsbad. However, it turns out that Andrei is not one of the most reliable types either...
