Die Mutter des Mörders plot

The 20-year-old mentally handicapped Matis lives alone with his mother Maria, who surrounds him with the best care. One morning something horrific happens: Leah, the neighbor's daughter, lies dead and naked in the garden. It is clear that the young woman was murdered. Matis is caught in contradiction and becomes suspicious. He is arrested and much to the horror of his mother, he confesses. However, Maria continues to believe in Matis' innocence and goes in search of the real culprit herself.
